MASE team attending the European Astrobiology Network Association Meeting (EANA 16)

The MASE team will be attending the EANA 16 meeting in Athens, Greece between 27-30 September 2016 and 6 MASE-related presentations will be given:

  • Detecting biochemical evidence for life with the signs of life detector (SOLID) (Oral)
  • Mars Analogues for space exploration - from anaerobic field site to culture collection (Oral)
  • Assessing the habitability of the MASE Mars analogue sites (Oral)
  • Potential for fossilization of an extremotolerant bacterium isolated from a past Mars analog environment (Poster)
  • Metabolic response of Yersinia MASE-LG1 to osmotic stress and ionizing radiation (Poster)
  • MASE isolates refute the supposed correlation between desiccation and radiation tolerance of microorganisms (Poster)
