AMADEE-15 Mars analog mission Report Published

In August 2015, the Austrian Space Forum (OEWF) and international partners conducted a two-week Mars simulation mission on a rock glacier in the Kaunertal, Austria (altitude 2887m). Directed by a Mission Support Center in Innsbruck/Austria, a small field crew conducted experiments preparing for future human Mars missions in the fields of engineering, planetary surface operations, astrobiology and geosciences. 11 carefully selected experiments involving more than 100 team members from 19 countries were successfully implemented.The MASE project participated to this mission with the Glacier-MASE experiment, collected samples are currently under investigation.

An AMADEE-15 science workshop in Graz, Austria is planned for February 2016, a detailed announcement will be made in time by OEWF.
